About:

One of the most common species of Raoulia, this plant can be found in lowland to low-alpine areas ranging from Auckland southward. It is known for its vigorous growth and tends to form quite large mats consisting of fine, pale green leaves. These leaves take on a more silvery appearance if the plants are cultivated in a bright, sunny situation, enhancing their overall aesthetic appeal.

Endemic distribution:

New Zealand’s North & South Islands from Auckland south.

How to grow:

Grown from fresh seed or cuttings. They prefer a sunny situation on dry to moderately moist soil

** Seed germinates without pre treatment. 4 weeks cold stratification will help speed this up though
