  • We offer several convenient shipping options:

    • Delivery to Your Door – We can send smaller plants and orders directly to you via standard courier services.

    • Freight for Larger Orders – For bulkier purchases, our sales team will contact you via email to confirm the freight price. This email will also include payment instructions for the selected shipping method.

    • Click & Collect – Available by prior arrangement only.

    • Free Local Delivery – Available for select postcodes in Nelson, Motueka, and Richmond.

    All online orders are processed, packed, and shipped from our home nursery in Richmond, Nelson. Before dispatch, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your order details, allowing you to make any last-minute changes to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase.

  • We ship plants ranging in size from 4 cm to 4 m nationwide. Shipping costs depend on your location and the size/volume of your order.

    • Nationwide Delivery – Costs vary based on distance and order size. Rural deliveries may be more expensive, so you may wish to have your order sent to an urban address to reduce costs. If the calculated shipping fee seems high, email us for alternative options.

    • Delivery Timeframe – Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery, especially if you’re in a rural area.

    • Shipping Methods – We use standard courier services for most shipments, but bulkier orders may require freight carriers like Mainfreight or Toll.

    • Island Deliveries – We can ship to Chatham Islands, Great Barrier Island, and Stewart Island by arrangement. Contact us at nelsonnatives@gmail.com for a quote.

    • Stock Availability – Occasionally, listed products may be unavailable. If this happens, we’ll contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

  • We take great care when packing and dispatching our plants, but shipping mishaps can occasionally occur. Since we rely on third-party couriers such as NZ Post, Aramex, and Mainfreight, delays or damage can sometimes happen.

  • The vast majority of our plants are grown in Richmond Tasman from seed echo sourced from private property in and around the Nelson Tasman regions. Thus assuring 100% traceability and we are more than happy to pass on this information upon request.

    On ocasión where seed stock is unavailable or evidently hard to come by we will outsource seed from a reputable supplier who also can track and trace there seed source.
