About:
A shrub with an open habit, typically growing to about 1m in height, features small grey-green oblong leaves that add a subtle elegance to its appearance. In the spring, it produces attractive heads of small white flowers, bringing a touch of brightness to its surroundings. This shrub can be found thriving in open areas and scrub environments, ranging from the remote Three Kings Islands to the region of Marlborough, flourishing at elevations from sea level up to 600m. For optimal growth, it requires well-drained soil that allows for proper drainage and nutrient uptake.

Open cliff tops, in scrub, frost flats, track sides and other seral habitats.

How to grow:
Very easy to grow from fresh fruit and semi-hardwood cuttings. This species forms an attractive small shrub and is tolerant of a wide range of soil types and conditions from drought prone sites to frosty situations. It does best in infertile soils.
** Seed germinates without pre treatment. Sow seed direct & keep moist until germination is complete.
