About:

A small, prostrate to erect annual herbaceous plant that typically reaches a height of approximately 40cm, adorned with rhombic to ovate or triangular-shaped leaves that are thick and fleshy in texture.

Natural habitat:

Coastal and inland salt marsh’s but also occasionally around lake margins and saline or sub-saline swamps.

Growing environment:

Sun, Salt, Wetland, Wind, Coastal & Free draining tolerant.

Endemic distribution:

New Zealand’s North, South Islands. Also present in Australia & Chile
