About:

A shade-loving herbaceous perennial that is quite similar to O. macrocarpa, this plant can be found thriving in the alpine areas of Taranaki and Manawatu. It features slightly hairy leaves which lend it a unique texture, and it is notably more prone to sudden collapse under certain conditions.

Natural habitat:

Found above the tree line in Alpine areas.

Frost, Shade, Wind & Free draining tolerant.

Endemic distribution:

New Zealand’s central North Island in the Taranaki and Manawatu regions.

How to grow:
