About:

This species forms a tight cushion of narrow, dark green leaves that can grow to about 8 cm in height. In its natural habitat, it is known exclusively from the Old Man Range located in the Otago region of New Zealand. It thrives in conditions that provide a moist environment; however, it is essential that the soil is also well-drained to ensure its optimal growth and health.

Natural habitat:

Usually in shingly ground, sandy hollows & river terraces.

Growing environment:

Frost, Sun, Wind & Free draining tolerant.
