About:

Hebe truncatula typically grows as a flat-topped shrub, reaching heights of up to 2 m, particularly around the edges of forest margins. The narrow, elongated leaves exhibit a shiny dark green upper surface that contrasts with a noticeably paler under surface, measuring up to 4 cm in length and up to 10 mm in width. The inflorescences of this species can extend to about 6 centimeters long, adorned with clusters of white flowers whose lobes, characterised by their rounded projections, may possess subtle tinges of mauve, adding a touch of colour to the overall appearance.

Natural habitat:

Grows in subalpine shrub-land.
