About:
This particular species is also found thriving in the wet alpine areas of the South Island. It exhibits a similar growth habit but is characterised by broader leaves that distinguish it from its relatives. The daisies produced by this species are predominantly white and can be a bit larger in size compared to those of D. lyalli. It requires the same specific growing conditions as D. lyalli, yet it proves to be even more challenging to maintain and cultivate successfully.

Montane to alpine tussock, grass lands & peat bogs.
Growing environment:
Frost, Shade & Wind tolerant.

New Zealand’s South Island.

How to grow:

** Seed germinates without pre treatment. 4 weeks cold stratification will help speed this up though
