About:
A slender upright shrub that can reach heights of up to 4m when found in its natural habitat. This species is typically located in both lowland and montane forests, ranging from the central North Island down to South Canterbury. The leaves of this shrub are small and needle-like in appearance, adding to its delicate look, while the berries it produces are also small and white, contributing to its overall distinctiveness in the landscape.
