About:

This broom reaches a height of approximately 2ms and is typically found along stream sides and forest edges from Lake Waikaremoana to the south. It features an appealing weeping form, characterised by narrow, flattened branchlets and lightly scented white and mauve flowers that bloom in spring and summer. While it can withstand relatively dry conditions, it thrives best when provided with a satisfactory amount of moisture.

Natural habitat:

Mostly associated with rivers terraces, flats and streams and forest margins.

Growing environment:

Frost, Sun, Drought, Wind & Free draining tolerant.

Endemic distribution:

New Zealand’s North Island (southern part), South Island (northern and western parts)
