About:

A fast-growing ground cover featuring attractive bluish-green leaves and distinctive velcro-like seed pods. The plant species A. anserinifolia develops dense mats, making it an excellent and effective choice for suppressing weeds while also preventing the erosion of surface soil in various landscapes.

Natural habitat:

Abundant from lowland to lower subalpine forest margins and in shrub-lands.

Growing environment:

Frost, Sun, Drought, Shade, Wind & Free draining tolerant.

Endemic distribution:

Found throughout New Zealand’s North, South, Stewart, and Chatham Islands. Also has been naturalised on the Auckland and Campbell Islands.
